Many will fondly remember him from the riverbanks swapping tall stories about his own fishing abilities or bragging about the actual fishing abilities of his beloved granddaughters. Michael “Mike” was a police officer with Rothesay Regional Police for 35+ years, but his true passions were hunting and fishing.
Born in Saint John on November 23, 1946, he was a son of the late Donald Stephen and Catherine Grace (Fritch) Donovan. With heavy hearts, the family of Michael Stephen Donovan, husband of 51 years to Annie (Irvine) Donovan, announce his passing on Monday, June 21, 2021, at his residence in Quispamsis.
